About

Small team, no small thinking.

That Fellow Digital builds and rebuilds websites, then keeps them running. A pharmaceutical company, construction firms, lenders, clothing brands, a hard money lender and a safety consultancy on the other side of the world.

Working with a small outfit means you talk to the people doing the work. No account manager relaying messages, no ticket queue. When something breaks at an inconvenient time, you are talking to someone who knows how your site was built, because we built it.

The argument

Do you actually own your digital assets?

Your domain, your hosting, your analytics, your ad accounts. It is common to find a business whose domain is registered to a developer who stopped answering emails three years ago, or whose Google account is in a former employee's name.

That is a real risk, and it is invisible until the day it matters. Part of what we do is untangle it: work out who holds what, get it back into your name, and hand over the keys. You should be able to fire us and take everything with you.

6 of the sites we have built are still online and still doing their job, which is the only version of this argument that counts.

Questions

The things people actually ask.

How long does a redesign take?
It depends on size and complexity, but most sites land somewhere between a few weeks and a few months. The variables are usually scope, how many rounds of revisions you want, and how quickly feedback comes back. We will give you a timeline before anything starts.
Can you redesign our site without taking it offline?
Yes, and this is the normal way we work. The replacement gets built on a staging address first, we check it properly, and only then does it cut over. DavosPharma is a good example: a working business site that was rebuilt and moved to new hosting with almost no downtime.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
Yes. Updates, security checks, backups and monitoring, so your site stays current without you thinking about it. Most sites that get compromised were running a plugin nobody had updated in two years.
Can you help our search ranking?
We handle the technical side properly: site structure, page speed, schema markup, Search Console and analytics set up so you can see what is actually happening. We will be straight with you about what is realistic rather than promising a position on page one.
What happens after launch?
You get someone to call. A site is not finished when it launches, that is when it starts being used, and things come up. Several of the relationships in our work index have run for years past the original build.
