The brief
Nailed It Safety, construction safety experts based in New Zealand, needed someone to update, optimise and maintain their website. Not a one-off build, but an ongoing arrangement.
What we did
Started by making recommendations for integrations and bringing the site up to date. The interesting part of this one wasn’t technical, though. It was working properly across a sixteen-hour timezone gap.
That ran on weekly video calls to stay aligned, and a Trello board so nothing depended on either of us remembering what was said. Maintenance work is unglamorous and easy to let slide; the system around it is what keeps it from sliding.
The result
An updated site with more efficient integrations, and a working relationship built on weekly calls and direct messages rather than a ticket queue, with a well-organised board tracking every update and maintenance task.
